Invest At The Pre-VC Stage
We focus on investing in sub $500k funding rounds that are too small for professional VCs. This lack of competition results in extremely attractive valuations. We call this stage Pre-VC.
Capital-Efficient Tech Companies
We primarily invest in capital-efficient, early-stage tech companies. Capital- efficient companies tend to be more nimble, resilient to tech downswings, incur less dilution over their lifecycle.
Ultra-Diversified
RSCM constructs ultra-diversified investment portfolios that typically have exposure to 500+ companies per fund. This helps smooth out the risk curve of the Pre-VC market and allows us to capture positive outliers with high confidence, leveraging power law returns.
Tax-Efficient Investing
The majority of gains in RSCM funds are expected to be Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) gains, which are currently exempt from federal taxes and exempt from state taxes in 45 of 50 states.
Quantitative, Data-driven
We make our investment decisions almost entirely based on quantitative data rather than subjective analysis. This allows us to build stronger portfolios and make incredibly fast investment decisions.
Operational Support
Our founders have free access to operational support for the life of their company. We provide sales, marketing, and fundraising support, all of which improve outcomes for our portfolio companies.
