Dave delivers operational management expertise and provides a hard core entrepreneur's perspective. He started his first company right out of college. Most recently, he was the co-founder of a venture-funded Internet jobs startup. He's an expert in growing ventures from nothing to significant ongoing operations. He's also been an angel investor and startup advisor.
Kevin Dick, Managing Director
Kevin delivers the technology management expertise and provides a formal process optimization perspective. He has patents that span a diverse range such as derivative trading systems, automated statistical modeling, and network security devices. Most recently, he was the co-founder and CEO of a network security device startup. He's an expert in software development and mathematical modeling.
Jeff Pomeranz, Managing Director
Jeff delivers private equity fund expertise and provides a securities industry perspective. Prior to RSCM he worked for Legend Merchant Group in marketing and fundraising for the VC and hedge fund industry. Previously, he was the founder and President of a boutique investment bank and research firm.
Paul Swiencicki, Growth Partner
Paul collaborates with our portfolio companies to catalyze their go-to-market efforts. He has a 25 year history of driving revenue and building teams from the ground up, either as a co-founder or early stage employee. He's seen three successful exits that range from IPO, private equity and strategic acquisition. He continues to give back to the community by advising companies and mentoring young entrepreneurs.
John Eng, Funding Ecosystem Partner
John manages our later round funding ecosystem. John connects RSCM portfolio companies to relevant later round investors to help them get their Seed, Series A, and beyond rounds raised. He has been in senior marketing roles helping to position and market early stage companies for over 20 years.
Curt Pabst, Venture Partner
Curt manages institutional LP relationships. He has 44 years of investment experience, including being a co-founder of an early stage B2B venture fund and a hedge fund-of-funds. He has also managed institutional relationships at several large asset management firms, including Kidder, Peabody and Merrill Lynch.
Scott Shane, Deal Flow Partner
Scott delivers academic expertise and provides a fly-over state perspective on startups. As a business school professor, he has taught technology entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial finance and has written on numerous topics from how to best pitch investors to the right way to structure university spinoffs. He's also been an angel investor and startup advisor and has worked with numerous venture capital firms and angel groups.
